Serving Kids Hope Host Poker For A Purpose! with Damian Square

Los Angeles Chargers’ Defensive Tackle, Damion Square has partnered with Dr. Patricia Riba, and Serving Kids Hope to host their inaugural Poker Night on April 30th. This exclusive charity event will take place at the luxurious Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach. Proceeds from the Poker Tournament will directly benefit Serving Kids Hope, an official 501(c)(3) dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles in children, families, and communities by addressing medical nutritional, social, economic, and behavioral issues in a comprehensive, compassionate and empowering manner.

Serving Kids Hope brought school-based programming to Santa Ana Unified School District reached over 6,000 students in the last fiscal year. Their goal is to reach more students by bringing their school-based programming to more schools in Orange County. Servings Kids Hope programming includes one-on-one care, group care, in-class education, school assemblies, parent training, and faculty training.

Damion Square has been active in his community even before joining the NFL in 2013. Once moving to Los Angeles, he started serving on the board of Serving Kids Hope. The Square family believes that everyone should have an opportunity to live out their dreams, no matter their socioeconomic status. Damion has partnered with several charities to host events but is extremely passionate about serving on the board for SKH.

The evening will include an exclusive dinner for our sponsors and then an evening filled with casino games, whiskey tasting, silent auction, and more. Guests of the event will have a chance to meet with Damion, fellow teammates, and special celebrity guests. More details to come!
